China Textile Export Date In May
According to customs statistics, in the first five months of this year, China's textile and garment exports totaled US $96.16 billion, fell by 1.17% compared with a year earlier and 8.8 percentage points narrower than that of the previous four months. Among them, textile exports totaled US $57.95 billion, up 21.3% year on year.Apparel exports totaled US $38.21 billion, down 22.8 percent year on year.
In May, China's textile exports totaled US $20.65 billion. Driven by mask exports, China's textile exports in May surged 79.2% year on year, maintaining a high growth rate of 51% in April. In The same month, China's garment exports dropped 24.4% year on year to 8.91 billion US dollars, 3.3 percentage points higher than the previous month, but the overall level is still at a historic low.
